Originally appearing in 1976, it has been re-produced, quoted and misquoted countless times; celebrated as defining the punk rock ethos, 'just do it', it ultimately became a uniform, a set of rules. Quoting this drawing in his turn, Allen flips the chord diagrams, creating alternate dissonant chords, which suggest a way towards finding another sound - something new.
